The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has teamed up with XPAntarctik, a crew of six explorers on an expedition to Antarctica, and the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) to test Astroskin, a new "smart shirt" for space developed for the CSA by Hexoskin. Astroskin is planned to be worn by astronaurs on board of ISS in 2016. Mission specialists will be able to track each astronaut's vital signs while they work and sleep, 24 hours a day.
