Comfortable Fit
Breathable, quick-drying fabric moves with the wearer. A close fit keeps textile sensors against the body for consistent recordings during daily activities, laboratory sessions, and repeated wear.
Collect continuous ECG, breathing, and movement data with comfortable, washable smart clothing. Hexoskin combines textile sensors, a compact recorder, and connected software so your team can follow physiology through daily activities, exercise, and sleep, with access to raw signals and meaningful metrics.
Lightweight, breathable fabric and integrated textile sensors make Hexoskin practical for repeated wear. ProShirts add adjustable belts and recorder-position slots to help maintain a close fit. Choose men’s and women’s ProShirts or Original shirts, plus junior sizes for younger participants.

Machine-washable garments are designed for repeated wear. Remove the recorder before washing, and follow care instructions to protect the fabric, connectors, and sensors.
Hexoskin’s rechargeable recorder collects data for up to 36 continuous hours. Recordings are stored locally for later synchronization, supporting data collection beyond the laboratory.

256 Hz · 12-bit ECG
Textile electrodes capture a single-lead electrocardiogram at 256 samples per second, with a 0.0064 mV digital resolution. The waveform supports beat detection, RR intervals, heart rate, and heart rate variability (HRV) analysis. Review cardiac responses to activity, recovery, and sleep with access to the underlying signal and quality channels.
128 Hz · Dual-Channel RIP - Thoracic
A respiratory inductance plethysmography (RIP) sensor follows expansion and contraction of the chest. Together with the abdominal channel, it records breathing patterns and supports breathing rate, inspiration and expiration events, and ventilation estimates. This helps relate respiratory changes to cardiac activity and movement.
128 Hz · 16-bit · Dual-Channel RIP - Abdominal
The second RIP channel follows abdominal movement. Two channels let you examine chest and abdominal contributions to breathing. Tidal volume and minute ventilation are derived estimates; calibration and the selected processing method matter when interpreting volume in litres.
64 Hz · 3-Axis Acceleration
The recorder’s accelerometer captures movement on three axes. Derived outputs include activity, steps, cadence, and position. Use this context to distinguish changes associated with movement from changes during rest, and combine the signals for sleep-related analysis.
Hexoskin records ECG at 256 Hz, both breathing channels at 128 Hz, and acceleration at 64 Hz. Keep the waveforms behind your metrics to inspect recordings, apply your own analysis, and develop reproducible methods.
Identify sensor disconnections, electrical noise, movement artifacts, and unreliable RR intervals. Use quality channels to select recording periods and assess the signals behind your physiological data analysis and research findings.
Explore Data ChannelsConnect cardiac timing, breathing patterns, and movement to your research question. Interpret derived metrics with their processing methods, recording quality, and applicable calibration in mind.
Explore MetricsExplore published methods and results before choosing study endpoints. Assess accuracy against reference methods for your metric, population, and conditions; sampling rate alone cannot establish accuracy.
