Hexoskin discusses health innovation and medical procurement at ProcurMed 2017

ProcurMed 2017, a Canadian MedTech Procurement Forum, took place today May 11th in Montreal. Our CEO Pierre-Alexandre Fournier shared experiences and lessons learned in working with hospitals in Canada and the United States.

Hospital procurement and innovation departments, payors, and medical devices and health IT companies from Ontario, Quebec, Massachusetts, Vermont, and other states shared ideas on how to make it easier for innovative technologies to go through the procurement process. We talked shared risk, integrating pilots in procurement, and how to do procurement in a value-based healthcare system.

Hexoskin demonstrates its connected health platform at DPharm in Boston

This week Hexoskin is in Boston to attend the 3rd Annual Mobile in Clinical Trials on September 19th and the 6th annual DPharm: Disruptive Innovations to Advance Clinical Trials on September 20-21, 2016 in Boston. This annual event sponsored by Hexoskin is an opportunity for the Life Science industry to share the latest thinking, insights, and updates on the application of disruptive and mobile technologies to advance clinical research and drug development.

On September 20th, Pierre-Alexandre Fournier, CEO and Co-Founder of Hexoskin will present how clinical grade wearable sensors like Hexoskin is used for long-term remote monitoring in clinical trials. He will also share with the participants some use cases involving Hexoskin for monitoring patients in clinical research, and share lessons learned & best practices.

Additionally, Hexoskin will demonstrate its technology in the exhibition hall of the conference on September 20-21st (booth #35). The Hexoskin team will present how Hexoskin can be used in clinical development with live demos and presentations.

CES 2016: Hexoskin Smart wins Best Wearable Tech and Best in Show Awards

We just got back from Las Vegas and we couldn’t be happier.  The release of Hexoskin Smart on Indiegogo helped us make huge waves at CES 2016, especially since we sprinted past our goal within 12 hours of launching. We were on the ground talking about Hexoskin to the media, industry analysts, and tech lovers from across the globe, who can’t stop raving about Hexoskin Smart!

On top of receiving wide coverage from all over the world, we also received some notable awards: Stuff Magazine scoured CES in search of the Best Wearable Tech, and selected Hexoskin Smart to win a CES 2016 Wearable Tech Award. Hexoskin selected to develop a technology to remotely monitor astronauts’ vital signs

(December 22, 2015) Montreal, Quebec – Hexoskin

 

Today, Hexoskin (Carré Technologies) was awarded a contract from the CSA to develop the On Astronaut Wireless Sensor System (OAWSS.) The OAWSS is part of an Advanced Crew Medical System (ACMS) that will help prepare the CSA to fulfill the needs of future human space travel, to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. This contract award comes in response to a request for proposals that was posted for its Space Technologies Development Program.
